Pedrigee Launches Ambassadogs

Pedigree Philippines has recently introduced a new promo, Pedigree Ambassadogs, which is a weekly challenge to select the “cutest and healthiest” dogs. The project is made possible with the help of BBDO Guerrero’s creative marketing team and CoreProc’s team of web developers, who handled the project’s technical requirements.

Coreproc utilized Javascript and jQuery for the project’s frontend, and PHP with Laravel for its backend. It is hosted by CoreHost which uses Ubuntu and Nginx for the server, and MariaDB for storing data. The project took one month to complete.

Ambassadogs has a video preview capability to allow users to double-check their entry before submission. It accepts all kinds of video formats thanks to its on-the-fly video converter. It also leverages the use of submission queueing to make the user-experience seamless despite the heavy load that the server might experience due to multiple submissions. Lastly, the website can generate an excel file which can be accessed by the organizers. It has all the related data needed for the competition.

The website can be viewed at pedigreeambassadogs.ph. Users just need their Facebook account in order to join the competition.
